CAROLINA HURANT, CrossFit Level I Certified Coach

Carolina is a dedicated fitness professional, coach and personal trainer. She first discovered her love of fitness through running & yoga, driving her to pursue her Master’s in Exercise Science & Nutrition in 2006. During her graduate studies, Carolina was introduced to the world of strength and conditioning and upon graduating in 2008, she left with not only an advanced degree, but also a strong passion for functional strength training.

In 2009, Carolina was introduced to CrossFit through a colleague and friend and was instantly hooked. CrossFit represented training principles and practices that resonated with Carolina both personally and professionally. Since 2009, Carolina has been using Crossfit.com and CrossFit Football to develop her own fitness with whatever space and equipment available to her at local “globo” gyms. In May 2011, Carolina discovered CrossFit Local and has seen incredible strength, endurance and overall fitness gains, a true testament to what good coaching and the right community can drive you to accomplish.

Fitness & Nutrition is not just a hobby for Carolina, it is a career and a way of life. She takes great pride in helping her clients and athletes improve their overall fitness and health. As your coach, Carolina will provide you with the resources & motivation needed to achieve your goals.
